The Baptism Team is a group of volunteers who meet with parents who wish to have their child baptised and to pass on the gift of faith to their children. The meetings are informal and take place in the baptistry in St. Michael’s Church. The meeting opens and closes with a prayer and at the meeting the Baptism Team will go through the Baptism booklet and they will explain the format that the ceremony take and the parents are given the opportunity to go through it and ask any question they wish to ask. The Baptism Team will also be in attendance at the Baptismal ceremony to help in any way they can and also to be of assistance to the Priest.
