Update on the celebration of Baptism. 

To those who are waiting for the Sacrament of Baptism in the parishes of Athy, Narraghmore & Moone, we congratulate you on the birth of your child. We know that there are many people who have been waiting for over a year to have their child baptised

We have received a directive from Archbishop’s house with regard to the celebration of Baptism. “In the light of the most recent government health advice – operative for the months of May and June, the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism should only take place in exceptional circumstances. The ordinary celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism should not be organised until further notice”.

We are looking forward to celebrating Baptism with you once these restrictions are eased.
